The ELISA Project aims to make it easier for companies to build and certify Linux-based safety-critical applications – systems whose failure could result in loss of human life, significant property damage or environmental damage.

ELISA at Open Source Summit Japan

ELISA will be represented on-site at Open Source Summit Japan December 5-7 in several sessions including:

  • Monday Elements Towards Functional Safety Use Cases with Linux in Automotive - Philipp Ahmann, Robert Bosch GmbH
  • Tuesday Keynote Japan's Critical Infrastructure - Open Source Evolution - Kate Stewart, The Linux Foundation, will feature ELISA and a few other open source projects.
  • Wednesday ELISA Mini Summit:  project overview and deep dive into Systems and Automotive Working Groups. To register for ELISA Mini Summit, please add it to your Open Source Summit Japan registration.

TSC Leadership and Member Update

The ELISA Technical Steering Committee (TSC) provides technical oversight of the project. The annual election for this year was held in the fall. And we're excited to welcome Philipp Ahmann as the new TSC Chair and look forward to Philipp's leadership for the technical community. And a big shout-out to Shuah Khan, who served in this role for the last two terms.
